Our role starts where a typical sales conversation ends. Of course, we help customers with their purchasing decisions, but our added value lies in the advice we provide. We understand the market, we know the entire supply chain, and we proactively think alongside our customers. They rely on us to help them make the right decisions, not just for today, but for the long term.
Why is it so important to understand the entire supply chain?
A banana travels a long journey before it reaches the supermarket shelf. Its origin, transportation, ripening process, packaging and logistics all influence the final quality. Because we understand every step of that journey and work closely with our colleagues across the company, we can offer our customers informed advice and tailored solutions.

What does a typical working day look like?
There really is no such thing as a typical day. The market changes constantly. We monitor availability, discuss quality issues, coordinate with colleagues and stay in close contact with customers. That variety is exactly what makes the job so interesting.
What gives you the greatest satisfaction in your work?
When customers see us as an extension of their own business. Trust is built over time by giving honest advice, keeping our promises and finding solutions together. That’s what this role is really about.
