We are looking for someone who wants to play a crucial role in streamlining our transport operations and is in daily contact with customers and suppliers, drivers and subcontractors.
What will you do?
As a Senior Transport Planner, you will play a central role in streamlining our transport operations, working closely with clients, suppliers, drivers, subcontractors and colleagues. You’ll ensure that everything runs smoothly.
- Coordinate transport assignments and efficiently allocate them to drivers and subcontractors, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- You manage our drivers and subcontractors to ensure transports run on time and as agreed.
- Monitor transport progress closely, intervening when issues or last-minute changes arise.
- Collaborate with your colleagues in the transport team and other departments to ensure a seamless logistical flow.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and up-to-date information on transport assignments.
- Take on administrative tasks, such as invoicing, training, fleet management, and ensuring compliance with Code 95.

Your background
- A bachelor’s degree in logistics or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in transport or distribution.
- Bilingual in Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
- You work fluently with IT systems and MS Office (Excel).
- Knowledge of driving and rest time regulations, as well as the Benelux road network.
